I was praying and thinking about God's promises to the church. I was becoming frustrated when I thought about how weak we can be and the Lord encouraged me with this word. I hope it will also encourage you.

I’m teaching you to trust. To obey without knowing the answers. To reach out without knowing all the reasons. I’m teaching you to listen to my voice. To rest and be confident in what I have spoken. Confidence that will cause you to lay aside your greatest concerns and seek my face for what I want  while you’re in this place. 

I am with you. I want you to hear my voice, then I want you to stand firm unwavering until I accomplish what I have promised. No plan “B’s”. No determining the  end  date  for my action, then you do your own thing. No, I want you to stand firm until I please to bless you. And will I bless you? Oh, yes more than you can ask or imagine. 

Those who trust in the Lord will never be put to shame. The Lord is a strong tower, a rock of defense, He can be counted on.
